Original Xbox Games, and Bonus Discs!

Been adding to my Original Xbox collection again recently

 Call of Duty 2 Big Red One Collectors Edition

Had this on PS2, but prefer the Original Xbox from this generation of consoles

And now, a couple games and Bonus Discs!

First, I have had this game since right around it's original release

Note: This game was originally an Original Xbox Exclusive, but it was also  included on disc with the Chronicles of Riddick Assault on Dark Athena release for Xbox 360 & PS3 as well.

Not in Original case, buty I am swapping over to a two disc case anyway.

I noticed this game was redone by Limited Run Games for the PS4, I may have to get that one too.

More Items for my F.E.A.R. Collection!

One of my absolute favorite game series of all times, especially the first one, is F.E.A.R.

First Encounter Assault Recon

A horror themed First Person Shooter, I fell in love with the first game when I got it for my Xbox 360 in February 2007, and have played through it twenty+ times. To this day it still remains as the best time I have ever had playing a multiplayer online game, I played almost exclusively every day for a year and a half. And with my hoarding tendencies, I of course need to buy all the F.E.A.R. stuff I can get my hands on. I have a lot that I plan to share on this blog someday, but I recently picked up a couple items and thought I would share them here.

First up a very nice PC copy of F.E.A.R. 2 I got for cheap, $4.00 I believe?

And, I was on board for F.E.A.R. 2 from the beginning, February of 2009 I believe.

But I recently saw two of these come up for sale on eBay, I had never seen these before in the last decade? Not sure where they came from, but I HAD to have one! An eBay listing, a Buy It Now click, a few days shipping and it was mine!

And last but not least

I originally got one of these new for the Xbox 360 from Germany (damn prude U.S. rules) back when it was released. And later a sealed copy for PC, so that just left.....

Back to my Bonus Disc obsession/compulsion for my Xbox 360 collection

First up, I found someone selling the case and bonus disc for a game I recently picked up (HERE)

Add my $1.00 game disc and, viola! Complete Collectors Edition.

Yes, I researched online, and the game disc is the same in the standard and collectors editions.

Next up I came across this

$30.00 Xbox One S

I got a call from a friend of a friend the other day, and they were looking to sell their Xbox One S with controller and power cord as they needed Cigarettes. They knew I buy and resell games and systems, I told them if I had $60-70.00 I would normally be all over it, but I recently had to cut my hours at work to PT, The trials and tribulations of being a single father, and I just didn't have the extra cash right now. So I thanked them for thinking about me, and said if they wanted me to list it for them, to let me now.

3 Minutes later I get a call back that the friend would take $30.00 for it all, He really really needed cigarettes. Well at that point, I couldn't say no.......So, I bought it. The friend gave him the thirty bucks for me, and I paid her the cash the very next day when she brought it over.

And here it is!

Even included the original box

1 TB hard drive, newer than the console controller

So, I hooked it up in my daughters room so she could play Forza in her own room on her own TV, and not take my TV over all the time. Tested the console and controller, everything works great!

Great Deal, Glad I quit smoking 17 years ago......

More Goodwill Game Grabs

Last Sunday, I was on my way home from a lil bit north and I decided to stop in at a Goodwill I had only gone to twice before, and written of due to their prices on video games. It had been 2-3 years since I last stopped in there because they priced their games at $5.99-9.99.

Anyway, I went in and saw a bunch of Playstation 2 games, games I actually wanted to get. So I started checking them out. ALWAYS check inside your cases to make sure the game/correct game is in the case, and to check the condition of the discs. But none of them were priced. Then I looked around and saw that this Goodwill was also selling all video games for $2.99. Seems like that is the standard for Goodwills around here now, Awesome.

Then, as I was checking out, the clerk told me that on that day only, if I bought one of their reusable cloth bags for $2.00, I would get 40% Off my purchases. SO, the games ended up being $1.80 each!!

Was a great day to revisit this Goodwill.

And a Mercari deal I bought almost a month ago..... They lady sent them to me, the tracking showed they were out for delivery one day, then the next day when I checked the tracking it showed and alert: Waiting for delivery scan? Another week goes by, and the lady messeges me and says they came back to her? Weird..... So then she resent them out a few days later, and I finally got them.

Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic Advance 3 for the Game Boy Advance

I already had the other two Sonic Advance games, and they are great fun. I also wanted the original Sonic the Hedgehog port and these both were together in a bundle for $20.00 shipped.
