Original Playstation Game Pickups

As I have previously mentioned, I have been having great luck at the thrift stores the last few weeks, and found some Original Playstation Games, which I do not seem find too often.

Thrifting Tip: Always make sure you are checking the Music CD Section for Original Playstaion and Sega Dreamcast games. A lot of times these are mixed in with the CD's since they are in the same style cases and not all employees are in the know.

Just look for the logos in the top corner to quickly scan through the CD's

And of course the Playstation Green Greatest Hits Logo makes them even easier to find..

And onto my finds!

Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, No Manual - $2.99 @Goodwill

Ten Pin Alley, No Manual - .50 @a Mom and Pop Thrift Store

Patience is a Virtue (WRC for PS2)

This is my second lesson in Patience when it comes to video games

The first was Painkiller Hell Wars for the original Xbox. I really really wanted to play that game after getting Painkiller Hell & Damnation for PS3. So I finally broke down on a Friday night and ordered a factory sealed one off the internet for $10.00/ The NEXT day, The one I bought had not even shipped yet, and I found it complete and in great shape at a pawn shop for $2.99.

In February of this year I found WRC (Blog) for the Playstation 2 at a Salvation Army for $4.99 missing the manual. I bought it because it was a game I had been looking for and really wanted to play.

And of course me being me, with it having no manual, even though I rarely if ever look at them, went online and bought one from an eBay seller for $2.99 shipped.

Arrived in Great Shape!

And here is where my newest lesson comes. About a month ago, I went into the new Salvation Army and guess what I found on the shelf, complete with manual for, $1.99?

Nice shape, just need to remove the sticker residue on the front of the case

So now I have a $2.00 copy and an $8.00 copy.

Just another lesson teaching me to wait. That game I want will come around eventually for cheap. I just need to learn to have patience and wait. Which for a guy who has impulse control problems, is not easy.

Thanks for looking, learning and laughing at me, More soon!

Adding more 32X Games to the Collection

My Sega Genesis 32X Collection is the one that I am looking to have a complete collection of, so I slowly pick them up here and there when I find a good price, here are a few more I recently Bought.

T-Mek
Complete $70.00

Unfortunately I am getting to the point where all I need are the expensive games. There are 3 or 4 that I will begrudgingly be paying over $100.00 for, but has got to be done, gotta pay if you want to play. However I generally use the profits from flipping stuff I pick up at thrift stores so, in the end it does not cost me any actual money that I would need to pay bills, so that is fine with me.

Zaxxon's Motherbase 2000
Complete $65.00

I remember playing the original Zaxxon in the arcade

Wrestlemania The Arcade Game

Found a good deal pop up on eBay for the Cartridge only for $55.00, And I already have the case for it I got in a lot sometime last year.

Still need a manual though

Next up is one I was able to piece together from 2 different sources. I had bid on an auction for this game, but it ended higher than I wanted to pay ($99.99) so I didn't win it, but piecing it together let me put it in my collection for $30.00 cheaper than the auction went for.

BC Racers - Cartridge for $40.00
Box & Manual for $30.00

For a total of $70.00 I was able to add this to the collection.

That is it for today, but I still have a bunch of stuff from the last few weeks, as I have been having GREAT pickups from the thrift stores. I recently moved, so have been busy with that, but I will get the blogs and pictures up over the next couple weeks.
