Playstation 2 Stay Alive Movie DVD

Stay Alive is an American supernatural slasher film, released March 24th 2006 in the U.S.

An overall fun movie I revisit from time to time.

Spoiler: In the end of the movie they show the Stay Alive Game (not a real game, just made as a prop for the movie) in a Playstation 2 case, with Playstation 2 on the disc and the game store employee puts it into a Playstation 2 slim.

I tried to get decent pictures from the TV, but these are the best I could do

I though it would be neat to make case artwork for the DVD that looked like a Playstation 2 Case

I found a pic online, because of course someone has already done it, which is good for me because I never would have been able to, not much of an artist or digital manipulator myself.

Printed out and put into a Playstation 2 Game Case

Overall I like it!

My only complaint is how it looks on regular printer paper. I my find better paper for the art.

Xbox 360 Collector's Edition Steelbook & Bonus Disc

Picked up another item that has two of my favorite things to add to my Xbox 360 Collection.

Steelbooks & Bonus Discs

I like when the steelbook art looks just like a standard game case

Complete

Even has all the original inserts

At home in a Standard 2 disc case
An oddball hidden gem FPS game

There was also an exclusive Soundtrack Bonus CD that was a pre-order bonus at EB Games in Canada. Guess what I am on the hunt for now?

Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 Console Pickup

Saw an ad on the local Craigslist for an item I had been mildy interested in, I love the Xbox 360 and it is becoming one of my most full and fleshed out collections, so I recently decided I wanted to collect all the special edition 360 Consoles, for cheap of course, I am starting with the original "Fat" 360's.

When it was first listed it was $80.00. Eventually over the last 3 weeks the seller dropped his price to $40.00, and I let it sit for a few days and emailed him, stated I had noticed it had been listed for awhile and offered $30.00. He accepted and we met up yesterday, Here is what I got.

Basket full o Goodness!

At first glance, it does not have the original 250gb Hdd. Which is black to match the console. Oh well, will have to find one of those eventually along with the USB port cover.

Overall it is in great shape

It only came with a single white controller, not the 2 black ones that came with it originally, No biggie I have a pile of 360 controllers including a factory sealed Walmart Exclusive Camouflage one.

And it also came with a Logitech Playstation 2 Wireless Controller - No Receiver However,

and a few games

Between the Logitech controller and games, I should be able to recoup my $$ = Free Console!.

Update: I have since sold all the games and the Logitech controller for $40.00, So I got a good working Limited Edition Console AND $10.00 profit for free.

When I met with the seller to complete the transaction, he stated he had hooked it all up and checked it out just before meeting with me and that it worked. Whenever I see Original Xbox 360 "Fats" for sale, I automatically assume they do not work.

Always nice to assume the worst and be wrong

Looks to be the original 20gb HDD

A couple Digital Games as well

The old owners Games/Achievements

The last date I could find on anything was 2014

Overall a Great deal (especially since I am sure I can recoup my investment) on a cool console.

I kind of want to put my profile on it and play through all the Xbox 360 Call of Duty games. Or at least Re-Play through all of Modern Warfare 2 and get all of the Achievements again, that'd be kind of cool to see on it. But, knowing me this will just sit around know and collect dust, Until I get a proper game room to display in.
