Goodwill to Gamestop Game Flip

I was perusing the video games at one of the Goodwills I frequent, and I saw a Xbox 360 copy of Modern Warfare 2. But I usually always check inside the cases in case the wrong disc is in them, and something good is instead.

In this copy was a Call of Duty Black Ops II, which I know trades into Gamestop for $10.00+. There was also a unopened Xbox Live Trial card, which I wanted for my Xbox 360 Collection, just cause. So I paid the $2.99 for it and when I got home I went to the Gamestop website, looked up the trade in value, and........

$13.20 Store Credit, Nice!

So yesterday I was out near a Gamestop and brought my the Disc Only copy of Black Ops II in a paper sleeve, and traded it in for Store Credit. And of course I had to wander around the store and see if there was something I wanted to buy.

First thing I noticed is how sad their Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 selection was. I realize it was 2 system generations ago, but still, my main collecting focus is my Xbox 360 collection. I did however manage to find a 360 game to add to my collection.

Dragon Age Inquisition
This game did not come with a physical manual

I have this digitally 😕 on Xbox One, but needed it for my 360 collection

I also picked up an Xbox One game

Gravel
Love me some Rally Games

Played this for several hours already, Plays alot like the Dirt games (hence the similar game title?) it is a fun game AND it also has one of my favorite Rally Cars ever, the Toyota Celica GT+4

Would love a real one of these to take to the Dirtfish Rally School

Picked up more Xbox 360 Games

After a little Holiday vacation, I am back with the First post for 2021, picking up games for one of my favorite consoles to play and collect for. All of these were scored at either Goodwill or Salvation Army so were either $1.99 or $2.99

First up let's get the ones missing the manual out of the way

Tropico 5

The Outfit

The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth II

You know I Love my Racing Games!
Indianapolis 500 Evolution

Another one to keep an eye out for if you need the 3 Disc case
Assassin's Creed Ezio Trilogy

I thought I would try taking the pictures differently of the No Manual games, no one wants to see the large slab of  Mountain Dew Green, I may just do this going forward, I like it better.

Next up are the complete games, in the traditional picture posting style.

Skate

Project Sylpheed Arc of Deception

Baja 1000 The Official Game

Bladestorm The Hundred Years' War

Mercenaries 2 World in Flames

Conflict Denied Ops

MX vs. ATV Untamed

These next four still had the Xbox Seal (cut) on them where a person would open the case. They looked like they had just been opened, looked at and put back on a shelf. They are in New Condition!

Fatal Inertia

Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath

Damnation

Risen

Lots of new additions to the collection, More to come!

Gamestore Pickups

A Couple of months back, I found out about a Gamestore in Saint Cloud, MN, with a second smaller store in Monticello called Lewis Game Shop. I was up in Saint Cloud hitting up the thrift stores (Been finding great stuff up there) and had a stack of extra games laying around and it was time to do my yearly trade in and get what I get and buy some stuff. I also had a couple (5) discs resurfaced at $2.00 each Overall it was a great experience, at a great store with great selection and good prices! If you are in the area, it's worth checking out.

Let's see what I able to pickup

I also bought this, I absolutely love the Forza Motorsport series, but also Gran Turismo.

Gran Turismo Sport (PS4) Steelbook!

It was $14.99 with the game, I did end up selling just the game disc for $10.00 on eBay.

Next up some Sega Goodness

Picked this next one up from them for $2.99 disc only, because I have had just the case and manual for it since the pickup way back in July of 2015 (HERE) when I got the case with the Expendable game in it at salvation army. Nice to be able to finally complete it. That's why I hang on to just the cases when I find them.

Ultimate Fighting Championship
Now Complete

and also for the Dreamcast a $4.99 pickup

Test Drive Le Mans
Complete

as well as a $9.99 Sega CD Game

Formula One Beyond the Limit
Complete

And Finally, a game I had been chasing for a while. I remember being snobby (cause I am cheap) and laughing at a disc only copy with a blockbuster sticker on it 4-5 years ago for $15.00..........Regretted it the last few. Complete this game sells for between $80.00 and $100.00. Now I normally would not spend so much on a disc only game, but.....

#1 - It is one of my absolute favorite game series
#2 - I have had the case and manual I picked up for $5.00 years ago
and
#3 - Most Importantly I was spending trade credit, so splurged without guilt

Road Rash for the Sega CD
