Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness is the Sixth installment of the series and was released on the Playstation 2 (and Windows PC) in June of 2003.
I remember buying this game back then either day and date, or very shortly after I am sure. I also remember it being a little more of a difficult game than the previous iterations on the Original Playstation, and I honestly don't think I ever played it all the way through.
As I was perusing the internet one day, I came across a copy of this game for sale with this on the front?
I did not remember my personal copy having this.
Aaaaaand of course me being me, I decided that well, I just had to have this version/edition, complete of course. At that time the only one that I could find was for sale on Mercari for $70.00, and I was definately NOT going to be paying that for it, I did not need it that badly, especially since it wasn't as great of a game as some of the others.
As I usually do, when I have specific versions of certain games I am looking for I will make the rounds online (eBay, Mercari, Offer Up, etc) once or twice a week. And there were several copies on eBay that had the Trading Card image on the case, but when you went into the auction to look, they were not there, even if the sellers had the game listed as complete. And of course when I would email the sellers using the ask a seller a question button, I received ZERO responses.... Really Ass Hats?
Side Rant: A games is not complete just becasuse they include the case, art, manual and game disc. Sometimes there were extras, such as the cards in this case, or a map, or a bonus CD/DVD. If those items are not there NOTE IT in The Auction Description People! Show a little professionalism, Please?
While perusing these listings, I came across Greatest Hits versions of the game that came with this:
For $6.00 I think?, it was a few months ago. A Manual Addendum?
What a cruddy picture.......let me go take some good clear ones quick.
Much Better.
See, I am willing to admit when I make a mistake.

Once again another example of how your game is NOT complete without the Greatest Hits Content
While on my online travels I also came across this
An EB Games Pre-Order Bonus Collectors Edition DVD for the game,
So of course for $10.00 I had to have that too!
Then finally one day while I was perusing eBay I finally found a complete copy with the cards
That also had a PS1 Memory Card
and
A Like New Strategy Guide
Still with the Poster
All for $30.00 Shipped.
Much Much better than the $70 I originally saw it for.
Although I did end up spending roughly almost 50 for everything to put my version together......
But so what? I am happy with it!
