1 Year of Blogging, and how am I going to celebrate? By giving you, my readers a gift. Although it more fits with my Gamer readers, anyway I am going to tell you how I get Free Gamestop Power Up Rewards Points, without Shopping at Gamestop.
With the power up rewards program, you get points for every dollar you spend at Gamestop, whether in store or online. I, however no longer shop at Gamestop due to the extremely poor customer service I received when Battlefield 4 came out, and again the very next week when I had 2, yes 2 bad experiences in the same trip, while picking up my Call of Duty Ghosts Hardened Edition pre-order.
Anyway, I am a member of the website www.e-rewards.com Where you fill out surveys and earn Money to put towards certain rewards. The surveys are anywhere from a couple minutes to fifteen/twenty minutes or so, and for the most part I just fill them out here and there while I am watching Youtube, or TV, or whatever. I also once got a check for $75.00 cash, just for filling out a week long log of my cats eating habits.
There are 3 Rewards Tiers for Gamestop: $25 gets you 5,000 Rewards Points, $50.00 gets you 12,500 Rewards Points and $100.00 gets you 30,000 Rewards Points. I always get the 30,000. I then use those points in Gamestops Power Rewards Catalog, and get 8 $3.00 Xbox Live Currency codes, so basically $24.00. I just did this last week, and looking back in my email I had just done it 3 Months ago as well. So about every 3 months, I get $24.00 in Xbox Live Currency, for free, just for taking a few minutes and filling out surveys. Xbox Live is what, $60.00 a Year? This pays for that right here.
And I also get Free, New games. as I blogged about: http://daveswickedthoughts.blogspot.com/2015/09/free-titanfall-thanks-gamestop.html Ok so I had to go in the store to get that, but I was the using free points/credit I got through e-rewards, AND I got more rewards points from using the certificate.
Gamestop is paying for free games and a bunch of Xbox Live Credits for me, and I don't even shop there.
Thanks Gamestop!
